As the Alitalia group is undergoing reorganisation after Etihad Airways capital entered the group, the flights by their low-cost subsidiary
Air One are going to be discontinued during October 2014 and returned directly to
Alitalia. At Sep 30th, Air One are cancelling all flights from their bases at Catania, Palermo and Venice-Marco Polo. The Milano, Pisa and Verona bases are expected to continue for one more month. During the fleet optimization connected with these steps, the Alitalia group's flights to Prague are going to change as described further. The Air One flights from Venice to Prague are cancelled as from Sep 30th. Air One flights from Pisa to Prague will fly as Alitalia flights AZ 536/7 using an Alitalia Airbus A320 on Tuesdays and Saturdays since Oct 4th. The Thursday flights will be cancelled for October and will start again from October 30th. The
Milano Linate – Prague route – opened in April 2014 and currently flown every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with an Embraer 175, Embraer 190 or A319 – is not expected to continue during the winter schedule, will be operated again in summer 2015. The only remaining Alitalia flights for the winter schedule are Pisa and Rome. Air One has been present in Prague for 3.5 years. During summer 2014, the Pisa and Venice flights have been complemented by Saturday non-stop flights from Catania.
